Guinness 8 x 10

Guinness 5 x 5

....cant figure out whats going on here with the colors after I upload to the blog, fuck blogspot

Guinness 3 x 10.5

3 x 10.5: I cut the left side of the grey-ish image from a larger picture of the buildings surrounding St. James Gate, in Ireland. This is the location of the original Guinness Factory. I added the black square to the bottom of the image, because from what I have noticed Guinness ads seems to reflect the colors of the beer, and I didn't want to break that tradition. The Guinness logo "Good Things Come To Those Who Wait" is a recent change and it could be assumed that it was changed in order to accompany the newest limited stock of guinness which was brewed especially for the 250th Anniversary of Arthur Guinness.

ads

Nowadays most kids play inside on video games. The new "NGAGE" allows you to play your games on your phone anywhere. well its not great but its 1 step towards getting outside.

well all i can say is that snapple is not very tactful in what they say, but they get the point across.

I like this ad because it relays exactly what will be seen when going to the Bodies exhibition. I also like the idea of showing the figure in a state of motion as it could be dull if the figure was in any other pose.

My logos with a design element added. I created more variety by switching the positive and negative space of the stroke and fill of the letters, and the design element.
The design element is mostly at random. I chose it because of all the elements I tried I liked this one the most.

I traced out the logo options that i like the best in adobe illustrator, and experimented with a variety of stroke widths.

I prefer the draft on the bottom left, but I also like the top right image.
My sad rough draft of my initials once they were scanned on the computer, and traced in illustrator.
